I’ll Rise was born from a deep understanding of what families and individuals with developmental disabilities truly need: compassionate care, meaningful experiences, and real community. We’re not just a home care agency—we’re a movement dedicated to helping every person rise with dignity, independence, and joy.
Founded with love and lived experience, I’ll Rise is here to fill the gap for families who need more than just services. We offer personalized in-home support, inclusive family field trips, and guidance to access vital resources. Our team is made up of passionate staff trained to support every kind of ability, and we’re committed to making sure no one feels left behind.
We serve families and individuals across the Central Valley and beyond—meeting them where they are, and helping them rise.

Meet the Founder
Jasmine Simmons-McDaniels
Hi, I’m the founder of I’ll Rise—a mother of four, a lifelong caregiver, and someone deeply rooted in this work not just professionally, but personally.
My oldest son is autistic. I’ve walked the journey many of our families are on—from nonverbal days to now watching him prepare to graduate high school. I’ve also had the honor of caring for all three of my grandmothers. I was able to keep them in their homes, surrounded by love and comfort, rather than in nursing homes. And when one of them was placed in a rehab facility, I showed up every single day—to bathe her, comb her hair, and make sure she still felt seen and cared for.
For the past 18 years, I’ve supported children and adults with developmental disabilities in homes, schools, and community settings. I’ve seen what happens when families feel supported—and I’ve seen how hard it can be when they don’t.
I created I’ll Rise to be what I needed when I was navigating it all—a place of compassion, connection, and customized support. A place where no one feels alone, and every ability is celebrated. This isn’t just my work—it’s my purpose.
